My Broken Arm and ED

I haven’t been writing lately. I fell and broke my arm. There are two bones in the forearm called the ulna and radius. I broke both of them in half and had to have surgery to put them back together again. I now have 2 plates and 13 screws holding the bones together. I also am getting ready to start physical therapy. How is this related to ED? ED has been stronger than ever. In a previous post, I talked about how ED feels like he can help my pain. Well he is at it again. On top of my chronic pain, the pain of my broken arm has been horrible. I have been using food to deal with the pain. ED knows that food doesn’t make the pain go away, but somehow I listen to him and eat all day thinking it will make me feel better. I finally, once again, has to tell ED to shut up and stop trying to control me. I started going back to Eating Disorders Anonymous meetings on zoom and started reaching out to my friends from treatment. I’m getting in control and I am going to continue to Kick ED’s Butt. 🐷❤️
