Happy Holidays

Here is an excerpt of my blog from 2021.

The holidays are here and ED is in full force. He wants to be a part of every choice I make when it comes to food. He wants to tell me what to do. He wants to tell me how awful my body is. He wants to tell me I’m lazy and need to exercise. Sometimes I agree but then I think about it and tell ED to “Shut Up.” I am getting pretty good at telling ED to leave me alone but he still comes back. ED coming back is going to happen in recovery. However, it is what we do with his voices that make a difference in recovery. Are we going to be bullied by him or are we going to continue to Kick Ed’s Butt? Happy Holidays. Love you all. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
