ED is like the person you want to avoid during the holidays. However, the more you try to avoid him, the more he tries to find you.

He puts the thoughts in your head that you can't eat the holiday treats, that you must skip meals to eat your holiday meal, that holiday foods are "bad", that you are "bad". None of these things are true. You are not "bad" for eating holiday treats. There are no "good" and "bad" foods. You need to continue to eat your 3 meals a day, even if you have a holiday meal coming up. You are are worthy and deserve to be nourished.

So tell ED to "Shut Up" and leave you alone. I know this is hard and you have to tell him over and over but don't give up. Tell him you are not going to listen to him. Tell him that you are going to enjoy your holiday with your family and friends. Tell him you are going to eat what you want and you are going to enjoy it. Tell him you do not need him around to pull you down. Tell him you are worthy and deserve to nourish your body.

Although you can't completely avoid ED, you can stand up to him. He is just a bully and you can take him down. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday Kicking ED's Butt. Love you all. ❤️❤️❤️🎄🎅🏻🎄❤️❤️❤️
